Victim Services

The Buda Police Department is dedicated to providing prompt, quality assistance to victims, families, survivors, and the citizens of Buda. We are available to assist you in whatever way possible such as on scene response, make appropriate referrals, provide more information regarding services, assist with completing the Crime Victims’ Compensation (CVC) application, accompaniment, or just be someone you can talk to who understands what you are experiencing. It is your right, as a victim, to request and receive these services.

If you have been a victim of crime, you are guaranteed certain rights by Texas law. The Code of Criminal Procedures defines a victim as a person who “is the victim of the offense of sexual assault, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, trafficking of persons, or injury to a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual or who has suffered personal injury or death as a result of the criminal conduct of another”.

Please Call the Police Department for more information.
