The City of Buda is recognizing longtime Buda resident Tommy Poer during a public reception on Feb. 7, 2017. Ms. Poer has lived in Buda for close to 60 years. During her time here she has served on City Council, the Historic Preservation Commission, the Buda Bond Advisory Committee, the Buda Economic Development Corporation Board and numerous other boards and committees.
As you may know, Ms. Poer is a fixture at our City Council meetings. A self-described “busybody”, she has never been afraid to voice her opinion and she has been an important asset to the City. We also love her spunk! Ms. Poer is moving to an assisted living facility in the area. We will miss seeing her around town. Please join us in celebrating her legacy and service to the City of Buda.
