The Task Force was established as an ad-hoc committee in response to a citizen's survey to help prioritize critical issues and needs of older citizens and their families.  The results of the survey identified four key findings: the need for a resource hub, the need for additional transportation resources,  volunteer opportunities for older citizens, and program opportunities to enhance cultural, learning, and intergenerational opportunities.
