The Honorable Monica Davidson was elected by the Citizens of Buda in November 2020 and sworn-in to office in December 2020 as Councilmember At-Large Position 2.
Mrs. Davidson is a Buda native, a graduate of Jack C. Hays High School, and a small business owner in Buda for over seven years. Councilmember Davidson is a huge advocate for Buda and small businesses thriving in Buda.
Mrs. Davidson is the Buda Economic Development Corporation Vice President, a Hays Education Foundation Board Member, and serves on several committees for her community. When not fulfilling these duties, she enjoys being a patron of the local businesses and is involved in many community events.
Mrs. Davidson and her husband, Ty, and three children, Gage (12), Cade (10) and Isla (2) believe Buda has everything they desire in a community to foster a positive and meaningful life for their family.
Mrs. Davidson's vision for Buda includes smart development, government transparency, employment growth, and raising the next generation to be involved in local government.
