Registrations received after that time, while valid for future elections, will not enable you to vote at the next election.

You can check your current registration status by phone by contacting the Elections Administrator's Office.

Voter Eligibility

In order to cast a ballot in a City election, you must be both eligible to vote and registered to vote. Persons are generally eligible to vote if:

Voters meeting these qualifications will generally be allowed to cast a ballot on election day or during early voting. If you believe you meet all of these criteria but are not allowed to cast a ballot by election personnel, ask the Election Judge to explain your right to cast a provisional ballot.
